My Target Experience....The good AND not so good.... AGAIN.......
Well, being a parent and one that homeschools their children I certainly know that in any given situation I am going to give praise first. With that being said, here is just a few words about my shopping trip to Target today. I still like, used to be love, shopping at Target. I love the variety that you can find there! Especially the seasonal items. I did purchase a few items that are not pictured above. Of course, that is how they get you to spend money, right? My sole purpose in visiting Target was to purchase the items above due to having coupons to get GREAT deals. I can always find even better deals at the end of the aisles in the clearance section. I love that Target has web coupons and accepts them in ADDITION to manufacturer's coupons. I also have to admit that the representatives at Customer Service have always corrected any errors I have found on my receipts. Now, the major problem I have is that on both occasions I have shopped there in the last month the register, I am not blaming the cashier, have not deducted all the coupons that I have presented. This makes for a LONG shopping trip. The customer service rep has to remove all (yes, there are a lot) the coupons from the register and match them up to my receipt to verify which ones have been deducted. On the last two trips I have been shorted a total of over $20. So, on this trip the customer service rep was so kind as to give me (2) $3 off my next shopping trip coupons when I left. Honestly, I never complained during the process but a lot was going through my mind. I'm sure it wasn't any fun for her either. I'm not trying to rip off the system, these are just coupons put out there for consumers to use. I am just trying to save money for my family. These are products my family uses. So...if you see me in line at Target...you may want to get in another line because the next time I go with my stack of coupons I may just be asking after each coupon if it came off my bill instead of having to wait until after I have paid at the end.
