I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and stayed cool!
I was so happy to wake up to find NO HUMIDITY! WoooHooo! I turned that AC off and opened back up the doors! So nice! What a gorgeous day! My son and I picked blueberries yesterday at The Garden of Eden. It is right off of Nanticoke Road. Today would have been a much better day to do it! If my memory serves me right, it was $2.11 per lb and .50 for the bucket. I gave up before my bucket was full and it cost me almost $8 and that included the bucket. They sure are yummy. My son's favorite fruit!!
As for bargains and coupons...with this being the first Monday of the month Nabisco's Facebook page has their Freebie coupon up and a lot of people are disappointed about their milk and cookies coupon. They have upped the requirement. Now you must purchase cookies, a gallon of milk and another milk, any size. Make sure you print your coupon off today from their site and use it by June 25th. Heads up....in Walmart South...I found Nabisco cookies with $1 off coupons on them if you buy a gallon of milk. I hate buying milk in Walmart because it is so high there, in my opinion, but I had to return something there. Anyway, I was able to use both coupons to get my FREE cookies. Also, I just purchased the cheapest little bottle of chocolate milk I could find to meet the coupon requirement. Of course, you and I both know it is all in who you get as a cashier whether or not you can get some of your coupons to work or not. I had a wonderful one today!
Speaking of issues with coupons, has anyone had any problems with Walgreens not adjusting down coupons? I know I can't be the only one who went to Walgreens to get the FREE Reach toothbrushes Saturday. I would love to hear your experiences. The employee wouldn't adjust the coupon. I wasn't asking for money back. Other stores do this ALL the time. What's the deal? Did I just get a person who didn't want to work with me?
